T-Engineering is a young, growing company within the automotive industry with roots from Saab. Today we are over 80 employees and we need to grow even more to meet our customers’ needs and further develop the company. The workplace is located in Trollhättan, Sweden. T-engineering is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dongfeng Motors since 2014.

We develop control systems for combustion engines as well as electrical vehicles, and we have the brand and network to offer interesting and challenging tasks. We develop complete control systems for high volume series production of hardware, basic software, application software and customization of these. We have maintained the agile development style of a small business by having an environment with short decision paths.

– Qualifications
– You have at least a B.Sc. in Engineering Physics, Electrical Engineering, Controls, Mechatronics or similar. We are looking both for recently graduated as well as more experienced engineers.
– You have experience with Matlab/Simulink preferably from EMS development, or C and debugging of real-time systems.
– Experience with INCA, test systems from DSpace. Canalyzer, or Canoe is a plus.
– Genuine interested in control systems and appreciated the challenge of modern engine Control.
– Ability to work creatively and analytically independently and in a team to address complex problems.
– Being able to understand how the result of your work interacts with other parts of the development such as customization, calibration, testing, and project planning all the way to delivery at the customer.
– Fluent in English both written and in speech since the work requires global contacts. There may be up to 4 business trips of 1-2 weeks at the time.
– Driver’s license.

Key responsibilities
We are currently looking for a number of excellent engineers to joint our development teams Basic Software, Engine Management, Hybrid/EV control, Body-functionality, Diagnostics, calibration and system test.

With us you will get the opportunity work the whole chain of development from understanding the requirements and component specification, via software development, to testing and verification in vehicle and HIL, for your department’s needs. This is done with close collaboration with colleagues from other groups working with adjacent functionality.

There are also opportunities to develop existing and new tools to improve the work flow and the product. We encourage new initiatives and creativity.
